Evan Green: Co-Organizer/Curation Coordinator
Evan Green, a senior majoring in journalism and psychology, is the former executive editor of The Parthenon. He is also a member of the Society of Yeager Scholars and the Board of Scholars. He has been a freelance reporter for several news publications over the last five years, including Scioto County Daily News, The Portsmouth Daily Times, and the Shawnee State Chronicle. Evan is also a member of the Brad D. Smith Student Incubator, where he co-founded the start-up non-profit Break Free.
Maggie Piaskowski: Event Manager
Maggie Piaskowski is a junior from Proctorville, Ohio, pursuing dual degrees in musical theatre and business management. She is the event manager on this year’s TEDxMarshallU organizing team. She is also a Resident Advisor and member of the Campus Activities Board, and she has been in many shows with the School of Theatre and Dance. While at Marshall, she has performed internationally with both the Chamber Choir in France and Theatre ETC in Scotland.
Baylee Parsons: Communications Director/Designer
Baylee Parsons is a junior from Wayne, West Virginia, double majoring in English and multimedia journalism. Baylee serves as the managing editor for The Parthenon and the chief copy editor for The Kelly. She has also written several articles for The Herald-Dispatch and The Wayne County News. She is a member of Marshall’s Chamber Choir, with which she traveled to France last spring. Baylee has a passion for learning and gaining new experiences, so she is happy to take part in organizing this year’s TEDxMarshallU event.
Luke Jeffrey: Sponsorships, Purchasing, and Budgeting Manager
Luke Jeffrey is a senior at Marshall University majoring in accounting and woking as an Innovation Intern for Marshall’s iCenter. He hopes to take his passion for problem solving to law school to help businesses shape the future and improve people’s lives. In his free time, Luke enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with animals.
Maleah Majakey: Social Media Manager
Maleah Majakey is a first-year graduate student from Daniels, WV, pursuing an M.S. in Communication Disorders. She previously served as the Co-organizer for TEDxMarshallU’s 2024 event and is excited to return this year as our Social Media Director. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and walking her dog around campus.
